Bonnie and Bob – Minneapolis Engagement
I met up with Bonnie, Bob and their adorable puppy Remington in Minneapolis for their engagement session. I knew I was in for some trouble when the first thing they wanted to do was climb down into a ravine… Oh my.
We climbed all over and had so much fun the time just FLEW by. We were all surprised by how long we had been out!
I can’t wait for their wedding later this year!
Ian – 6 months portraits
This is the very first portrait session in the new studio! It’s small but it exists and it’s mine! It was so much fun.
I can’t believe he’s getting so big so fast. He’s such a sweet little guy. The hat is so cute I just about died.
Ailuros – Minneapolis model
One of my favorite people to work with is Ailuros. She is simply beautiful, peaceful, intelligent and kind. We have been friends for many years and I’m always happy when I get to see her again.
I did a few head shot type images for her portfolio and I loved them so much I had a hard time narrowing them down to a reasonable number…
It’s a good problem to have!
Fashion Unicorn Jewelry
A very dear friend of mine finally started selling some of her incredibly fun jewelry. You can see her facebook page here for more information and where to buy. She’s got a really unique perspective and her work is really quite interesting. I was thrilled to be able to photograph her work and help display her pieces! I contacted a few models I’ve enjoyed working with (including my love, Ailuros and the fabulous Holly for the makeup art.

Ian – 3 months old
Ian is 3 months old! He has become a very, very happy little guy. We just loved the look of this hoodie on him. Look at those eyes and those cheeks! I gave him a good cuddle when we were done. 🙂
Liam – newborn portraits in St. Paul
Little Liam was born in St. Paul, a little ahead of schedule. His mother had contacted me before her due date about newborn portraits and we expected we had plenty of time before he would arrive. He seemed to have other plans! She actually emailed me before she left for the hospital. I believe my email back was along the lines of, “OMG DON’T WORRY ABOUT IT JUST GO TO THE HOSPITAL AND CALL ME WHEN YOU GET DISCHARGED.”
We had the portraits done at her sister’s house and Liam was just adorable. He had so much hair and such sweet, quiet eyes. He had some great hand made knit items and he was very cooperative. His mother was clearly in love. In case you’re wondering, the red string bracelet is to ward off evil.
Ian – one month old infant portraits
Ian is already one month old! He’s so much more alert now. He’s so crazy sweet. I just want to cuddle him forever!
Jacque – Model session in Minneapolis
I love working with models. It’s so much fun to really work on some creative images and push myself. It also gives me a chance to try new things out and see how I like them. I had so much crazy awesome fun working with Jacque. She was a really fun spirit and so willing to try all the weird crazy things I wanted to do. Most of them weren’t dangerous at least! I try to be considerate that way. Ha! Once we settled in with each other it really started to flow. We got a lot of great images for her portfolio and we made some new friends!
Robbie – Child portrait in Minneapolis
Robbie is a child model from south of the metro. We met up in Minneapolis and had ourselves a portrait session! We got a lot of great new material for his portfolio and had a lot of fun. He was really great to work with and a very patient 4 year old. He got tired of it all after a while of course but was still charming. Great kid!
Ian – 2 week old infant portraits
I’m just in love with this squishy little guy. His big sister seems to love him too! I have a lot of portraits of him to come as his family decided to use my grow with me package. It helps follow him through his first year!
