In 2012, I decided to undertake a 365 project. I decided to do it on the theme of toys because I think a theme helps move the project along and I have a few toys around the house!
I really wanted to do it so as a way of practicing and using my tools and sort of expanding my comfort level and confidence. It’s a creativity challenge for sure!
2012 was a leap year too so it was technically a 366 project! I also did a “Day In The Life” project with Team Photoblog so that’s included as well.
It started out strong but after a few months I started to lag. I decided to give myself some more specialized challenges to keep it going. I worked with colors for several weeks and that helped.
After I broke my leg, things started to change. I was of course a bit depressed and I derailed a bit. Once I got things back together, I sort of loosed my interpretation of the guidelines of my project. The concept of “toy” was definitely expanded. I’m ok with this. I think it’s interesting to see how things changed.
I’ve included a few of the images here but you can see the whole project set in my 365 project gallery! I have included the very first and my very last image from the set here as well.
